**Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader**

**Job Description:**

The Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing a team of grounds maintenance technicians to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality landscaping services. The Crew Leader will coordinate daily tasks, manage crew schedules, and ensure all maintenance activities meet company standards and client expectations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead and train grounds maintenance staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.

- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.

- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of all work areas and compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of grounds and equipment.

- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; order materials as needed.

- Prepare and maintain reports and records, including job logs, maintenance records, and incident reports.

- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management to ensure high levels of service and responsiveness.

- Address and resolve issues or conflicts within the team or with client service delivery.

**Work Environment:**

- This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, and inclement weather is common.

- Protective gear and safety training will be provided.

Requirements

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in horticulture, landscaping, or related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, with a minimum of 3 years in a crew leader role.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment.

- Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required.
