Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Residential Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects. Your attention to detail and proficiency in drafting software will be crucial in ensuring accurate and precise drawings.
Duties:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MicroStation
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings
- Incorporate design changes and modifications as directed by project managers
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from internal teams and clients
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Maintain drawing files and documentation for future reference
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certification in drafting or a related field
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Revit
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles
- Familiarity with 2D animation software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
