Description

Avance Cabinetry delivers quality materials and pristine finishes for cabinetry that is functional & purposeful utilizing an advanced manufacturing process for efficiency and traditional woodworking methods for stability and craftsmanship.

We are looking for multiple Warehouse Associates to join our team! 

Cabinet Assemblers will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing cabinets according to standard operating procedure. This position involves using various tools, equipment, and materials to ensure high-quality craftmanship and the timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures including using appropriate tools and hardware components to assemble cabinets. 
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. 
  • Maintain and clean tools, machinery, and work areas regularly to ensure a safe and organized workspace. 
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors. 
  • Collaborate with team members, including supervisors, and other assemblers, to ensure production deadlines and quality standards are met. 
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating tools and machinery. 
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Additional certification or training in carpentry or cabinet making is a plus.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively and safely.
  • Strong attention to detail, and precision.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Should be able to lift up to 49lbs.
  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.
  • Safety shoes are required. 

Packaging Associates will be responsible for packaging cabinets and accessories according to daily production schedule. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify all product has correct paperwork, labels, and quantities before packaging. 
  • Ensure product meets quality standards and has been modified accordingly then packaged with proper protection, labeled correctly, recorded, and placed in corresponding staging locations. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

The Kitter/Parts Coordinator will be responsible for unpacking unassembled cabinets, sorting, distributing parts for modification, quality control of finished parts, and staging final products for assembly. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open boxes and take out cabinet pieces that need to be modified.
  • Inventory and store remaining parts.
  • Rejoin modified parts with all original parts and stage for assembly.
  • Ensure that all parts are of the highest quality by following company standards before staging for assembly.
  • Other warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

For Packaging Associates & Kitter/Parts Coordinator:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with tools and machinery.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to multi-task.
  • Punctuality & reliability a must.
  • Regularly lift up to 49 lbs.
  • Stand and walk, as well as push, pull, squat, bend and reach frequently during the shift.
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks and other apparatus to move items around the facility.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Safety shoes are required.

*Specific duties and requirements may vary based on the employer and the production workload. Candidates must be willing to work in other departments in the warehouse as needed. 

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday. 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • Overtime when needed
