Full-time and Part-time Direct Care Associate positions available. We are looking for a couple staff for Swings (2pm-10pm), and/or a staff for nights (10pm-6am).

Our Direct Care Associates spend a lot of time with our clients eating (free food), going to activities such as skiing, swimming, hiking, yoga, self-defense, dance, movies, sporting events, canoeing, jet skiing, and more.

Our Direct Care Associates are the eyes and ears of our professional staff. They help our therapists ensure that the clients are receiving the highest quality of treatment available to help our clients overcome their eating disorders. As a Direct Care Associate, you will work at one of our residential eating disorders treatment facilities for females located 15 minutes from downtown Logan.

Due to the nature of the program and state licensing requirements, applicants must be female and be able to pass a required background check.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Interact with patients while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Must be able to eat food prepared for staff and patients
• Observe patient behaviors.
• Monitor patients to identify symptomatic behavior.
• Record observations.
• Report observed patient behaviors to supervisor.
• Complete written logs and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
• Support supervisor in adhering to schedule.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining proper patient to staff ratio.
• Observe environment to identify patient triggers and report to supervisor.
• Identify and control potential hazards to patient safety.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent. Some college education preferred.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Capable of working in environments of emotional stress.

Shifts

• Morning: 6am-2pm, Evening: 2pm-10pm, Night: 10pm-6am

Preferred Skills

• Position is entry level and incumbent will receive necessary training on the job.
• Previous experience working in a residential treatment setting preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.

Pay: $13.00 per hour
