Avalon Health Care Management Inc., is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to join our team!
The Director of Plant Operations Manages all Avalon activities in acquiring, developing, optimizing and administering corporate real estate.
$110,00 - $120,000 /year

Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize and administer corporate real estate
Identify key issues, appropriate solutions and financial projections in support of business unit and overall corporate needs
Oversee the evolution of strategies to optimize the use of capital in the portfolio
Plan for short and long-term facilities requirements in support of the business units consistent with the overall company philosophy
Establish policies and governance to enable decision-making that supports corporate philosophy and culture with respect to real estate
Oversee the development of standard procedures, processes and guidelines for financial control
Create an information management infrastructure capable of providing relevant input to the strategic planning process, reporting on key portfolio performance indicators and benchmarking for comparison to industry best in class
Provide monthly financial reports to monitor performance and ensure compliance with annual operating plan and appropriate business operations
Maintain frequent communications among various stakeholders to include executive management, government officials, community leaders and organizations
Support M&A, providing real estate expertise, valuation and due diligence in support of acquisitions, divestitures or mergers
Provide compassionate resident care services
Establish and maintain positive interactions with internal and external customers, including co-workers and direct reports
Promptly respond to call lights
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Previous experience in plant operations
Senior level experience gained with a progressive, multi-location financial services company or with a top tier strategy-consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have managed a significant number of strategic projects to a successful conclusion
Demonstrated ability to lead effectively through a multi-dimensional company supporting a variety of business initiatives. Coordinate an effective department through the selection, mentoring, training and development of a team of professionals within the company as well as external resources while leveraging the competencies within the business units
Employed a successful strategic, analytic approach to problem solving and business issues
Experience with the development and implementation of a process/system to display occupancy expense and relate it to business segment strategy
Experience with life safety management in skilled nursing
