Provides trauma informed crisis intervention, education and ongoing mental health counseling for children and youth who are victims of domestic/intimate partner violence, sexual assault, dating violence or stalking.

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with primary and secondary survivors.
• Generate and maintain service provision documentation.
• Coordinate comprehensive services with case managers, legal advocates and partner agencies.
• Follow-up with 24-Hour helpline callers as needed.
• Keep up with best practices for counseling services for trauma survivors.
• Assist with supervised visitation/exchange and summer camp sessions as assigned.
• Participate in educational presentations for youth and young adults through community partner agencies.
• Work independently as a part of a close-knit collaborative team.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in social work or counseling required. LPC preferred.
• 2 years counseling experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with victims, staff and the public.
• Strong organizational, computer (Microsoft Office Suite), verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible schedule, combination of remote and in-person according to the needs of the program.
