Looking for a seasoned treatment center therapist (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) who loves a challenge and knows Mental Health clients!

Behavioral health and addiction treatment experience in a residential facility is preferred. 

General Summary-

The Primary Therapist fulfills direct service to our residential clients including case management of clients, group psychotherapy, individual sessions, discharge planning, and crisis intervention. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, they assist in providing continuity of care to our clients throughout their stay.

Responsibilities - 

• Facilitates case management services for clients throughout their stay meeting with clients, building their trust, and promoting their current and ongoing needs throughout treatment
• Facilitates individual sessions and handles a primary caseload 
• Conducts assessments at the time of admissions and re-assessments as required
• Assists in evaluating clients individual needs, promoting their success
• Navigates discharge and aftercare planning working with the treatment team and client care teams to ensure seamless transitions throughout the process
• Facilitates any necessary sessions including but not limited too phone calls and face to face meetings with referents, personal case managers, family members, and clients
• Maintains appropriate documentation as required
• Crisis interventions as needed
• Facilitates group sessions providing a variety of topics including educational, process, experiential, recovery, and life preparation
• Assigned as a primary therapist to clients as needed with an average caseload of 4-5 clients
• Attends clinical team meetings as assigned

Requirements -

• Licensed LCSW, LMFT with behavioral health treatment experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience treating persons suffering from mental health and substance abuse. Prior residential treatment experience is preferred.
• Must pass LiveScan 
• Developed clinical documentation skills preferred
• First Aid and CPR certified
