Job Skills / Requirements

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors at the assigned sites.

Apply Listening, Observation, and Reporting skills to protect the interests of the client within the limits of the job.

Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders

Keep mental alertness and attention to detail high, no matter the circumstances

Providing supervision and guidance to Security Officers

Setting up Security Programs to include Post Orders, Guard Metric, etc.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that daily administrative documentation is kept concise and complete at all times.

Access control for all employees and visitors

Maintain all daily assigned equipment in functional and presentable condition.

Have State Security license on your person and must be present at all times.

Wear complete and approved uniform to include required PPE for the entire duration of shift as required

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

High school Diploma or GED

Experience:

Previous, security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience is preferred

Other:

Reliable Transportation

Current Direct line of communication i.e. cell phone or home phone

Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Ability to pass a background check

Must be able to stand and or walk for the entire work shift.

Ability to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs

Help restrain or lift a person if needed
