AVA is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Willowbrook, IL

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through precise measurements and inspections. Your expertise in quality control and your ability to analyze data will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accurate measurements
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or deviations from specifications
- Analyze data and test results to identify trends or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records
- Follow established quality systems and procedures, including CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Fabricate test samples or mock-ups for testing purposes
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 or similar standards
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and other quality inspection tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot defects or deviations from specifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
