Description :
This position will be working on various tasks related to the logging, packing, and movement of files in a records relocation.
- Assembling boxes
- Filling boxes with files.
- Clearly recording starting & ending file 's on each box.
- Accurately logging the box information (barcode number, starting & ending file 's) into an electronic spreadsheet.
- Moving boxes by hand or with the assistance of a dolly or flatbed cart.
- Loading / unloading boxes on pallets.
- Moving full pallets with a pallet jack.
- Loading / Unloading files onto library carts, and accurately tracking the sequential order of the carts.
- Moving library carts filled with files.
- Loading / Unloading boxes, pallets, and library carts from trucks.
- Accurately logging file 's from rows of shelving into an electronic spreadsheet.
Physical demands
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, reach overhead, bend, kneel or crouch and ascend / descend a ladder or stairs.
- May be exposed to seasonal extreme temperatures.
- Regularly pushes / pulls / moves supplies using hand truck or pallet jack when loading / unloading shipments.
- Regularly lifts up to pounds. May occasionally lift more weight; however, team lifting is encouraged and equipment is available to assist.
- Expected to walk miles per day.
