Join the team at AV Workshop. We are a fast paced and energetic company looking for experienced PTZ Camera Operator professionals to help support the execution of live event production for our high-profile NYC based clients.

Responsibilities:

• Directly oversee and participate in the set up and operation of camera equipment
• Operation of PTZ camera controller
• Possible operation of handheld camera wired or smaller web cam models
• Thorough pre-event testing of camera equipment
• Participate in and execute white balance, color correction, back focus adjustments, etc. to ensure quality of picture
• Direct operation of camera equipment either following the calls of the director and/or providing properly framed camera shots.
• Interface with additional service, technical, and leadership teams to achieve the best possible video product.
• Ensure recordings are captured and providing client with media if applicable
• Directly oversee and participate in the tear down/shut down of the camera equipment

Qualified applicants for this position MUST have:

• Solid knowledge and understanding of PTZ Camera operation
• Relatable Experience within the Live Events industry preferably as an onsite operator

Qualified applicants for this position will have:

• Minimum of 2 years Audio Visual Experience working in Live Events, AV Support / Operations
• Ability to perform well under pressure in an ever-changing environment
• Ability to accept changing work demands
• Ability to adjust work schedule as needed to support the operation
• Ability to lift 50lbs

$40 - $60 an hour
