Our client a wellestablished leader in theBuilding Materials industry is seeking an Environment Health &Safety Supervisor.

The individual inthis role should have experience working in a supervisory role thatin a heavy manufacturing environment.

In this role you will becollaborating with team members in order to develop a worldclassEnvironment Health & Safety culture ensuring environmentalcompliance with the goal of eliminating workplaceinjuries.

Responsibilitiesinclude :

• Provide ongoingsupport to the leadership team in the identification of workplacehazards reporting and investigation of incidents and thedevelopment of a comprehensive safety program.
• Assist the EH&S Manager in leadingfacility EH&S programs.
• Ensure compliancewith OSHA company standards as well as federal state and localenvironmental regulations and policies.
• Youwill be in charge of facilitating the EH&S training for allmembers to meet with targets and objectives.
• Provide triage and first aid in the event ofinjury to an employee.

Requirements :

• EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel AccessWord etc.)
• Solid understanding of facilitatingsuccessful EH&S programs in a manufacturingenvironment.
• Must have experience with EH&Spresentations and training.
• Must be proactiveenthusiastic and demonstrate effective leadership skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strongteams.
• Possess exceptional written and verbalcommunication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Officesoftware.
