The individual in this role should have experience working in a supervisory role that in a heavy manufacturing environment.

In this role you will be collaborating with team members in order to develop a world-class Environment Health & Safety culture, ensuring environmental compliance with the goal of eliminating workplace injuries.

Responsibilities include : Provide ongoing support to the leadership team in the identification of workplace hazards, reporting and investigation of incidents, and the development of a comprehensive safety program.

Assist the EH&S Manager in leading facility EH&S programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, company standards as well as federal, state and local environmental regulations and policies.

You will be in charge of facilitating the EH&S training for all members to meet with targets and objectives. Provide triage and first aid in the event of injury to an employee.

Will be contributing to the health screening process, health education programs, OSHA recordkeeping, hearing conservation process, etc.

Requirements : EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, etc.

Solid understanding of facilitating successful EH&S programs in a manufacturing environment.Must have experience with EH&S presentations and training.

Must be proactive, enthusiastic, and demonstrate effective leadership skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong teams.

Possess exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced computer skills including MS Office software.
