Job Summary:

Full Stack Web Application Development Team Lead

Essential Functions:

Project management:
- works with management and customers to have solid understanding of business and product.
- analyzes and evaluates risks within the scope of a project and makes recommendations
- works with management to resolve all identified roadblocks
- acts as product owner / business liaison.
- works with customers, QA department and stakeholders to coordinate project releases, communication and training provided before release and post deployment feedback
- takes ownership of singular projects and is responsible for timely progress, communicates with stakeholders any delays
- is accountable for the projects deliverables

Team management/coaching:

- delegates duties and assigns responsibilities within their team

- responsible for tracking team’s velocity and providing metrics for the management
- approves paid time off and expense reports of their team members

- takes active role in the hiring process of new developers
- have knowledge and ability to teach and mentor their team members.

Engineering / development:
- assures availability, reliability and scalability of all systems and projects on design level and coordinates with other IT departments resources needed to achieve this goal

- collaborates with management on establishing best practices, design patterns and coding standards

- researches, evaluates and proposes, in cooperation with department director, new technologies, software libraries etc. to be implemented to advance technical quality of delivered product

- helps with day to day development tasks focusing on code reviews, logical flows and quality of delivered code.
- assures compliance of code with internal standards in regards to documentation and testing

Education/Qualifications:

· Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication

· Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet established deadlines and change as business needs require

· Good problem solving/analytical/math skills.

· Minimum 5 years full stack web application development experience

· Minimum 2 years development team lead experience

· Minimum 3 years project scoping and project management experience
