Automotive Franchise Dealership is Hiring an Automotive General Sales Manager Near Minneapolis, MN

We are looking for a proven, successful Automotive General Sales Manager who can take charge, motivate, and inspire our team. Your desire to be the best must be contagious to those around you. With customer service and experience in mind, you’ll create an atmosphere where our staff can succeed and be their best. With your leadership skills our customers will experience a level of service unmatched by any other dealerships.

We are a franchised dealer located in the greater Minneapolis area.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs, supervises, and motivates staff, ensuring the dealership is adequately staffed to meet the needs of our clientele and ensure profitability of the business.
  • Promotes a high-performance culture by effectively managing the staff.
  • Manages the Sales Department, setting expectations and ensuring performance meets or exceeds those expectations.
  • Set financial and growth objectives and plans accordingly to ensure profit maximization.
  • Analyzes financial dealership reporting, seeing advances for growth and opportunity while eliminating redundancies to promote efficiency.
  • Support the dealerships to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure dealership activities are conducted in line with manufacturer and governing requirements.
  • Hires, manages, and coaches staff.

Qualifications:

  • Five years of relevant automotive General Sales Manager dealership experience required.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills when working with customers, team members, and automotive colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to multi- task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance, disposition, and strong work ethic.
  • Proficient computer and internet skills.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local regulations that affect automotive dealership operations.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pre-employment background investigation, including criminal records check & motor vehicle records check required for consideration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Experience level:

  • 5 years

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
  • Monthly bonus
  • Performance bonus

Ability to Relocate:
