Our client's franchise dealership is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Automotive Controller with a particular passion and knowledge in the automotive business.

You'll receive:

What you'll do:

• Post and reconcile new and used car deals.
• Calculate and report weekly salesperson commissions.
• Conduct monthly financial review with Owner and highlight areas of concern.
• Maintain assigned schedules.
• Verify lien payoffs and send out in a timely manner.
• Posting daily funding notices and report outstanding CIT.
• Monthly reconciliations – floorplan, inventory, finance reserve.
• Maintain clean and accurate ledgers and schedules.
• Product cancellations.
• Assist with preparing financial statements.
• Oversee A/P and A/R.
• Paying off trades and following up on titles.

The role requires an individual with a proven track record as a Controller or in automotive accounting and finance, with the ability to navigate complex financial systems and processes.

We'd like you to have:

• Dealership Controller experience (2 years in the position preferred)
• Must have strong DMS experience (DealerTrack and CDK)
• Experience building strong teams
• Consistent and stable work history
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Must have strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Must work well with others and be able to multi-task and prioritize work
• Ability to reliably commute to dealership in Randallstown after relocating

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
