Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing claims from the service of process stage to judgment for all defendants. Team members in this role must demonstrate proficiency in documenting accounts, skip tracing, problem-solving, and effective communication. Additionally, adherence to company guidelines and regulatory compliance is essential while striving to achieve departmental goals. Team members will also handle all forms of communication with our attorney network regarding our litigated portfolio. This position requires state-specific knowledge regarding litigation timelines, collection laws and practices. The goal of this role will be to increase legal collections overall by increasing the number of judgments obtained.

Essential Job Functions / Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor litigation process from service to judgment according to individual state guidelines and be the point of contact for our attorney network regarding the same
• Identify and resolve all exceptions and anomalies within the process
• Monitor progress of motions and pleadings leading to judgment
• Alert management of all necessary counterclaims and answers
• Increase the percentage of judgments obtained
• Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Experience with cloud-based file sharing applications
• Experience with PDF editing applications
• Experience with skip tracing tools such as Lexis Nexis/Accurint, TLO, Thomson Reuters Clear
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a legal environment
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a collections/administrative support role
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in legal procedures, regulations, or case requirements
• Strong understanding of legal concepts, principles, and procedures
• Intermediate working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to civil litigation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and other professionals
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate it to our attorney network

Preferred Qualifications
