Primarily, this position would involve working with a Product Engineer to come up with mechanical solutions for our warehouse equipment. This would entail taking ideation to CAD designs and subsequent 3D printing and/or fabrication.Secondarily, this position could involve testing a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) using a graphical, integrated development environment along with other automation products to include, but not limited to, HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive). This position is required to work Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

• Analyze various mechanical elements of existing and new warehouse equipment for the purpose of process improvement
• Create CAD designs for various machine designs
• Mechanical assembly of created designs
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make corrective changes to the design
• Quickly learn new software in order to form a list of items to test
• Perform software tests
• Thoroughly document issues identified during software tests with items such as screen captures, steps to duplicate and expected behavior

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficient in Solidworks
• Must be 18 years or older as this position will involve working with electricity
• Strong Computer Skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Products (Windows 7 and Windows 10) required
• Basic electrical knowledge and know-how to use a multi-meter required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Power Point a plus
• Understanding of basic networking skills (Ethernet) and serial communications (RS-232/485/422) is a plus
