Job Summary

Supports sales and manufacturing staff by providing product selection, specifications, and product documentation for customer inquiries and requests.

Specific Responsibilities

• Responsible for sizing and selection of Fisher® control valves, and all related hardware such as actuators, positioners, solenoids, and switches.
• Responsible for sizing and selection of process control measurement instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, temperature, density, etc.)
• Serves as the company expert for control valves, instrumentation, and actuators.
• Develops competitively engineered solutions to customer specifications and application requirements.
• Troubleshoots customer technical questions and provides product support.
• Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in products, services, and industries.
• Expands sales opportunities when interacting with customers-conducts customer needs assessments, identifies opportunities, and provides solutions.
• Actively participates with team members to achieve company goals, understands entrepreneurial spirit, and conducts business accordingly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Technical school degree and/or experience in control valves and process control instrumentation.
• The ability to develop and deliver solutions based on an understanding of the technical and business challenges of our market.
• Well-defined customer service and satisfaction skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills that reflect a professional, business approach.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail.
• Good self-management skills, including information organization and time management.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Works as a team player with account managers and can also work independently with limited supervision.
• PC proficient; familiar with MS Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel (as well as other internet applications.
