Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Material clerk Near Stanton, TX
Materials Clerk
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Materials Clerk for a company based in Houston, TX. In this position, you will keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location.
Compile reports on various changes in production or inventory. Organize the assembly, distribution, or delivery of goods to meet production schedules.
Pay Rate :
Schedule and Hours :
Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Must be willing to travel out of town.
Materials Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Complies and maintains records of quality, cost, and type of materials received, stocked, and issued, and prepares material requisitions : Compares information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order.
- Complies and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued.
- Prepares requests for procurement of material.
- May inspect, accept, or reject material received.
- May mark identifying information on material.
- May be designated according to location of goods as Warehouse-Record Clerk.
Materials Clerk Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be willing to travel out of town for long lengths of time.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 1 years of experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Quality conscious and detail oriented.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
