MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Technicians. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position.

Pay range- based on experience $26.00 per hour Shifts and Schedules 6 : 30AM 3 : 30PM Monday-Friday. The schedule may vary depending on maintenance challenges.

Maintenance Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees through identification and elimination of safety risks, and enforcing all safety policies and procedures
• Ensure production lines and all processes meet safety, quality, and operational standards
• Promote positive employee relations, through addressing and resolving concerns, and creates a culture of respect, teamwork, collaboration, and accountability
• Responsible for the training, direction, and coordination of Maintenance Technicians
• Effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct equipment malfunctions
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with diagrams, operational manuals, and manufacturing specifications
• Install, start up and shut down equipment in accordance with all company safety and established procedures
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to maintenance team as needed
• Perform basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc.)
• Responsible for following all Lock Out / Tag Out procedures for equipment
• Ensure completion of all assigned work orders within the time allotted, and maintain complete records of work performed
• Operate machine shop equipment and make required parts when necessary
• Complete and submit daily Shift Report of maintenance issues and downtime Maintenance Supervisor Skills and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED and an Associate’s Degree or certification in technical field preferred
• Three to five years of maintenance experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous flow manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift and move cases weighing up to 50 pounds consistently
• Experience in use of PLC’s, VFD’s and HMI’s
