Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Lift Truck Operator Near Baytown, TX
Pay Rate
$15.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-11:30pm some Saturdays and Overtime
Lift Truck Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, unload, and put away products from inbound trailers, containers, and railcars via lift truck.
- Must operate a sit-down lift truck 4K lbs. capacity to pick orders and load product onto trailers, containers, and railcars.
- Utilize all material handling technology like scanners etc. to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory.
- Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.
- Ability to operate technology equipment including Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners to manage inventory.
- Previous lift truck experience, loading and unloading trailers, containers, and railcars, preferred.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferred.
- Experience operating lift trucks with attachments such as forks, box clamp, roll clamp or pulp clamp.
- Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds safely. (Assessment administered in Office)
