Hospital Cook Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and experiencedHospital Cook located in Huntsville, AL.
In this role you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for patients while adhering to dietary guidelines and hospital policies.
Pay Rate $16.50 per hour Schedules and Hours Must have open availability. Hospital Cook Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and dietary guidelines for patients with various medical conditions.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Ensure all food is stored and handled safely.
- Monitor and manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest quality and served in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, health department regulations, and food safety standards.
- Prepare special diet meals as directed by healthcare providers. Hospital Cook Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cook.
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and dietary guidelines.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
