Position SummaryThis position is responsible for leading daily operations of the Assembly department at ASPC.
Education And Skill Prerequisites
Education And Skill Prerequisites
- Ability to lead and coordinate activities of production associates within the department.
- Works with supervisor and production control to meet on time customer requirements.
- Responsible for general housekeeping, 5-S and supporting continuous improvement.
- Initiates workforce assignments.
- Timely and professionally responds to emails.
- Assists supervisor with developing associates.
- Develops and fosters teamwork, leads by example and works with other leads during shift change.
- Accurately interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to assist associates and assign duties.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a minimum of an associate’s degree is preferred and a bachelor’s desired.
- Minimum one year experience in leadership role within a manufacturing environment; preferably automotive.
- Above average computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications are required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Talk or hear.
- Sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and use hands to handle or feel a variety of products.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close. vision, and ability to adjust focus.
