Automated Solutions is Hiring a Senior Plant Administrator Near Lenoir, NC

Job Summary:

Overseeing the administrative functions of the building, including training and onboarding employees in forklift operations, conducting ISO audits, and managing various tasks related to Process Safety Management. Performing quality checks, ensuring operator quality checks are conducted as required, handling inventory counts, data entry for production & ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Work hours required:

  • Monday - Friday work hours

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

  • Oversee administrative functions related to the building’s operations
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth administrative processes
  • Assist in conducting inventory counts & maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports that will help monitor and evaluate various aspects of building operations and analyze data trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Perform quality checks on products and processes.
  • Ensure that operator quality checks are conducted according to established procedures.
  • Prepare and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions
  • Manage first aid and personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory.
  • Ensure employees have the proper PPE needed for their positions.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to production activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely recording of production data. 
  • Oversee safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong Organizational skills.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Proficient in data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma
  • First Aid Certification is a Plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • May require some travel among facilities. 

Work Environment:

Office related, and a work environment with demand to complete duties as outlined above. Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.
