Duties and Responsibilities

• Drill holes in equipment, and secure equipment
• Route and fasten conveyor belts through roller conveyor with little instruction
• Ability to remove and set conveyor rollers
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all workplace rules and safety guidelines
• Follow written and verbal instructions from the Supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Square conveyor
• Ability to read blueprints
• Able to identify general electrical and mechanical parts
• Proficient in shop math
• Obtain fork truck license
• Understanding of basic electrical theory
• Able to use hot stick to determine voltage presence
• Able to use voltmeter to measure voltage and OHMS (continuity) with guidance if needed
• Some Travel will be required

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED

Technical Skills & Working Knowledge

• Able to read a tape measure accurately to the 1/16th of an inch
• Able to identify and use basic mechanical hand tools such as standard and metric open end and box wrenches, adjustable wrench/adjustable pliers, ratchet and sockets, sledgehammer, speed square/framing square, and tubing cutter
• Able to identify and use basic electrical hand tools such as phillips and flat head screwdrivers, termination/control screwdriver, side cutters/dykes, and wire strippers
• Able to identify and use basic power tools such as portable band saws, drills and impact wrenches, and reciprocating saws/saws alls
• Conveyor knowledge progression (equipment identification)
• Understand functions of a solenoid (in and out ports)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
