Automated Communications, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Artist LVLI. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Account Specialist, managing Customer Accounts catalog for online store fronts. Assistant will set up new accounts for catalog users and execute requests for content changes or add new items. Will send proofs to customers via emails and track project time. Primarily communicate to customers via Microsoft Office email for necessary information to execute customer requests and needs and provide customer support for the web store. The candidate will tally orders and projects daily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare art for client proofs and print production.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner.
• Provide customer service and support to clients.
• Assess incoming art for print quality.
• Become familiar with client’s brand guidelines and convert documents to a new font family for brand uniformity.
• Color correct photos as needed.
• Update online catalog.
• Keep track of time for billing.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Communications, Visual Communications.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. 
• Some familiarity with FTP and cloud file storage platforms like Dropbox, Box, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong time/project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with little direction and take direction from colleagues and clients.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign);
• Strong understanding of print production processes and file preparation;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and projects;
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members;
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload;
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements;
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for creating high-quality designs; 
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and composition principles;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines;
• Previous experience in print production or prepress setting a plus;
• Customer service experience helpful;
• Understanding of design to print process;
• Experience in print production, pre-press, and file preparation;
• Understanding of different file formats and color modes for various printing processes.
