Auto Cast, Inc is looking for diecast machine operators for 2nd shift. Willing to teach the right person the necessary skills for this position, including how to troubleshoot and produce quality castings on an automated diecast cell. This position offers room to grow as you progress from being a diecast operator into a technician with wages increasing as you learn! Good attendance and basic mechanical abilities are critical for this position.

Responsibilities Include:

• 1. Able to understand the operator instruction sheets including visual and dimensional requirements
• 2. Operate manual and automated work cells
• 3. Give full cooperation and assistance to all other department employees including fellow operators, technicians, leaders or supervisors
• 4. Maintain quality standards and production requirements including cycle times
• 5. Assist in setting die's when needed
• 6. Make needed adjustments and or repairs as required to diecast machine, robots , reciprocators, ladlers, cold chambers, shot rods, tip lubers, hot oil machines and trim presses to maintain highest level of production and quality
• 7. Practice good housekeeping including 5S
• 8. Visually inspect parts on a continuous basis to keep quality maintained as required
• 9. Obey and practice all safety procedures and properly use LOTO and wear required PPE
• 10. Must have required tools as specified and able to use them when required
• 11. Record any and all downtime along with causes and corrective actions taken
• 12. Any other duties that management may deem necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
