Automotive Parts Delivery Driver ~ Danville

Our Auto Value Danville, IL store is currently seeking a person for a Part-Time LOCAL (non-CDL) stocker/delivery driver position. This is a customer service position with many training opportunities for career advancement. A company vehicle is provided for this position.

*An ideal candidate should live within 30 minutes of the stores location.

Job Description:
Company Store Delivery Drivers are the backbone of all store activity. They are out on the road building up professional, long lasting relationships and communications with our Customers. By delivering each part correctly, safely and in a timely manner; you show our customers that Service is the Difference!
Responsibilities Include:

• Handle yourself as a professional, set an example
• Good store communications with customer service follow-up
• Lift Merchandise up to 50 pounds with both hands for deliveries
• Record and process Customer returns
• Familiarity with local area roadways
• Always tell the customer what you can do for them
• Work with delivery system for top notch service
• Notify manager of any problems with customers
• Store appearance (clean & organized)
• Help train less experienced team members.
• Keep management informed of competition

• 8 hour shift (Full time), 4-5 hour shift (part time)

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
  • No major violations
  • No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
  • No more than one at-fault accident
• Must be at Least 18 Years of Age
• Pass Physical & Drug Screen
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.
• Reside within 30 minutes of the stores location
