Car Wash Manager The Manager’s purpose is to operate and manage a car wash in the most efficient and effective manor to be productive and profitable. There is a need to develop and maintain a staff of assistant managers and production employees to focus on continuous improvement of customer service, quality of vehicle cleanliness and safety. Expectations:

Ability to learn in depth car wash functions and maintenance functions of a car wash
What you will do? Key Responsibilities
Manage training or schedule training for all new employees and continually train existing employees
Supervise and delegate tasks to employees
Lead employees
Cleaning of entire facility, including digging and sucking the pit
Able to communicate and help customers
Resolve conflict with customers and with employees
Fix minor to major mechanical problems
Able to identify problems with the car wash equipment, solve or direct to correct person
Handle all end of the day money, tips and shortages that occur
Work with upper management and owner on goals and numbers
Able to schedule employees and training meetings
Able to interview, hire and fire employees
Able to identify the perfect clean car
Account for work place safety
Handle chemicals in a safe manner and know the cost per car
Developing Skills
Able to work independently and efficiently
Able to delegate tasks, coach employees, work as team, and adapt to a changing environment
Good with planning and organizing
Able to problem solve and make decisions on your own
High communication skills, both face to face, email, and phone
Team Player
Must have valid driver’s license for at least 6 months
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co workers
Ability to stand for more than 8 hours, walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching/squatting. Frequent to occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 20-50lbs is required.
