Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collection Manager to join our team. As a Collection Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection process and ensuring timely and accurate payment from customers. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Duties: - Manage the collection process, including monitoring accounts receivable and following up on overdue payments - Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of customer balances - Utilize telemarketing techniques to contact customers and negotiate payment arrangements - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to billing or payment - Collaborate with internal departments, such as accounting and revenue cycle management, to ensure smooth operations and efficient collection processes - Analyze accounts for potential risk factors and develop strategies to mitigate collection risks - Utilize accounting software to track customer payments, update account information, and generate reports - Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, including ICD-10 coding requirements, to ensure compliance in the collection process Skills: - Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management principles and practices - Proficient in account reconciliation techniques and procedures - Excellent telemarketing skills with the ability to negotiate payment arrangements effectively - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Familiarity with accounting software for tracking payments and generating reports - Strong mathematical skills for accurate account analysis and calculations - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping If you are a motivated individual with a strong background in collections management, we invite you to apply for this position.
