After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 60% of the time. Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Actuarial Division as an Actuarial Analyst. The position is responsible for creating pricing plans to help us accomplish our growth and profitability objectives and requires the person to: Evaluate frequency, severity, and premium trends for purposes of projecting future losses based on historical loss data. Become familiar with using and understanding insurance manuals and principles. Organize and provide management with reports to aid in decision making. Effectively communicate with other employees through verbal and written means. Participate in both formal and informal training sessions Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related technical field is required.
