**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a Automotive Dealership Parts Manager to oversee the efficient operation of the parts department. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, order management systems, and supplier management within the automotive or HVAC industry.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage parts inventory including ordering, receiving, and stocking
- Utilize AS400 or similar systems for accurate tracking of parts
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Implement and maintain effective pricing strategies
- Oversee the order management system to ensure timely fulfillment
- Work closely with suppliers to maintain strong relationships
- Supervise a team of parts staff for optimal department performance
**Experience:**
- Prior experience in parts management within the automotive service or HVAC industry
- Proficiency in inventory control and utilizing order management systems
- Knowledge of AS400 or similar inventory management software
- Familiarity with forklift operation for handling parts safely
- Strong skills in supplier management to ensure timely deliveries
