Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Duties:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements

- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures

- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify any potential issues or safety concerns

- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems

- Complete repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all work meets quality standards

- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs or replacements

- Weld or solder components when necessary

- Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, painting, and refinishing

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role

- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair instructions

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently AND as part of a team

- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues

Skills:

- Mechanic

- Diesel engine repair

- Assembly skills

- Welding skills

- Oil change expertise

- Auto estimating knowledge

- Proficiency with hand tools

- Suspension maintenance experience
