Autism Support Now is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Florissant, MO

Autism Support Now (ASN) is expanding its mission across several communities with a focus on supporting Medicaid-eligible families. We are actively seeking BCBAs in Florissant, MO. ASN provides in-clinic services to individuals diagnosed with Autism between the ages of 18 months to 14 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient.
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans (following 60-45-30 day rule).
  • Evaluate patients to identify both skill deficits and strengths.
  • Analyze challenging behaviors to identify the function of the behavior.
  • Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
  • Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions based upon the client’s skill acquisition rate.
  • Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols.
  • Direct behavior technicians in the implementation of new or revised treatment protocols.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians.
  • Primarily work physically within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation.
  • Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress towards treatment goals and adjust treatment protocols based upon data.
  • Update treatment plans at least two times per month, based upon patient response to treatment.
  • Conduct assessments based upon clinical judgment and appropriateness to the client.
  • Include caregivers as a part of the treatment team, as evidenced by consistent Caregiver Collaboration meetings and collaborate professionally and compassionately.
  • Interact with payers in a way that is collaborative, professional, thorough, and informative.
  • Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (i.e., IEP, peer reviews).
  • Collaborate and communicate with all pertinent providers of a client: school, medical, etc.
  • Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence.
  • Practice ethically following BCBA ETHICAL CODES.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in Central Reach and the patient’s medical record.
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times.
  • Partner consistently and effectively with other center leadership, including Operations Manager, Administrative Technician, and Behavior Technician Leads.
  • Maintain a minimum of 200 hours per week of 97153 hours of a caseload.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3-5 years of certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder across the lifespan.
  • Experience with supervision and oversight of staff and program development.
  • Great interpersonal skills and exceptional time management skills.
  • Active Missouri or KS License or eligible to apply.
  • Flexibility and dependability with scheduled appointments.
  • Creative and independent thinking skills.

  • Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
