Autism Breakthrough of Knoxville is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Knoxville, TN

ABOUT US:

Autism Breakthrough provides a range of tailored services to adults with autism and their families and serves as a resource for the broader community. Our goal is to teach, encourage, and support individuals with autism and other disabilities to live rewarding, purposeful and fulfilling lives.

Qualifications: Must be BCBA certified and in good standing with the BACB. Must have experience in supervising ABA programs in the home, school or agency settings. Must be open to participating in ongoing personal and professional development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide high quality ABA services to adults diagnosed with ASD, ADD, ADHD, speech and language delay, etc. Daily tasks include assessments, designing treatment plans, staff training, parent training, meeting and collaborating with other professionals, conducting clinical meetings, etc. Provide interactive and lecture-based parent training (in 1:1 and monthly group structure. Provide interactive and lecture-based staff training.

  • Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Certified and maintain credentialing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA in good standing
  • Holds and maintains applicable state-level credentialing for practicing BCBAs in good standing
  • Meets BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) supervision requirements
  • Must have experience performing or assisting in the following BCBA responsibilities: conducting skills assessment (i.e., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK), conducting functional behavior assessments and functional analyses, program writing, data analysis, and creating behavior intervention plans
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and relationship management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take the initiative, work independently, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
