What You’ll Do

The Authentic Studios Summer (June-August) Intern will learn all of the ins and outs of the Authentic Studios department. In partnership with the industry’s top creators and distributors, Authentic Studios brings iconic celebrities and global brands to life through projects including premium original specials, limited and episodic series and theatrical films. You will report directly to our President, Authentic Studios and work closely with our Authentic Studios team. If you are willing to roll up your sleeves and learn all facets of our business, we want to meet you!

What you’ll be working on

• Become an expert in script coverage - a critical skill in the film and TV industry 
• Research an assortment of topics while working with the creative and brand teams across Authentic to put together pitch materials to bring to buyers
• Learn the Authentic Studios pitch and gain a holistic understanding of how we pitch Authentic
• Long term project: pick an article or topic for one of the labels to develop. Build a pitch with the ideal producing partners, studio, and talent to work with
• Learn how to pitch, package, and sell projects within the Authentic model 
• Learn how to put together pitch decks and treatments that help sell creative projects to buyers 
• Learn how to track a significant number of projects across our four labels

Must Haves

• Currently enrolled university student.
• Able to work up to 20 hours per week
• Able to work onsite in our LA office
• Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
• Detail oriented
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
• Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks
