Position Summary:
As a Operations Supervisor, you'll be the backbone of our client's 2nd shift operation, gaining a deep understanding of processes while providing essential leadership to our client's team. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safety-first environment, driving process improvements, managing inventory, coordinating with supply chain teams, and ensuring production schedules are met. We're looking for a confident and adaptable individual who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty on the production floor, all while providing leadership and guidance to their team.
- Foster a safety-first culture and continuously improve production processes
- Implement and maintain a 5S structure/methodology
- Ensure inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
- Lead production activities and coordinate with supply chain teams
- Resolve conflicts and engage in employee development
- Drive expertise in our ERP system and scheduling
- Associates degree or technical school certification OR 5 years of manufacturing and operations experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing
- Ability to work regular shift hours: 3:30pm - 12am M-F (please note: onboarding/training will be completed during 1st shift 6am - 3:30pm M-F)
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse tasks and responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Stand-up forklift, ERP system, CNC, scan gun, and Office 365 experience are all pluses
