Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing care and treatment to animals
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform animal IV and urinary catheterization, ET intubation and collect samples for laboratory testing
- Monitor vital signs of animals under anesthesia or in critical care
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of surgical patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic or hospital
- Assist with pet grooming, including brushing, and nail trimming
- Provide basic training and behavioral support for dogs

-Assist with client phone calls and education

-Comfortable with microscope examination of urine and ear samples

Qualifications:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Experience in animal care, handling, and restraint
- Proficient in performing animal catheterization and working with veterinary critical care patients
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
