Summary

The Education Director (ED) will serve as the senior site-level leader (onsite) for classroom quality and performance management at our licensed early childhood education facility. The ED’s are Director-level administrators at each center dedicated onsite to meeting Texas Rising Star (TRS) and Fractal Ed brand standards at the classroom level. The ED will work directly with the Regional Academic Director and Area Directors to develop and implement curriculum and instructional practices while promoting a site level identity of continuous improvement and professional growth among teaching staff.

The ED will work onsite at the facility side-by-side with the center Program Director (PD), who is responsible for facility level operations and quality assurance, and will report directly to them.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that the Montessori curriculum is appropriately implemented in the classrooms specifically aligned to the developmental level of the children

Promote the addition of materials and classroom arrangement to aid in the developmental of a TRS 4 star program

Observe, assess, develop, and train guides in each classroom to build a high-quality educational identity with accountability and growth;

Provide mentorship and support to guides in the delivery of high-quality instruction, including lesson planning, delivery, and assessment;

Collaborate with the Administrative team at their facility to deliver strong leadership and execution of site-level priorities and programmatic objectives;

Monitor and analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and ensure student progress toward academic goals;

Report on classroom performance metrics to Area Director and participate in site-level leadership meetings;

Facilitate and lead professional development opportunities that promote best practices in teaching and learning, including identifying teaching staff that have the potential and capacity to further their training and career in the Montessori pedagogy;

Collaborate with the campus leadership team to ensure alignment and coherence of curriculum, instruction, and assessment across subject areas;

Uphold and promote the Montessori values and methodology in relevant parent communications, including offering parent education sessions.

Support the development and implementation of Fractal Education academic systems and structures to ensure the effective and efficient operations; and

Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and serve as a positive role model for staff.

Qualifications:

AMS / AMI Montessori Certification / other formal Montessori certifications for either one or all Nido, Toddler or Children House levels;

5 years of experience as an onsite administrator in an early childhood education;

8 years total experience onsite in a Montessori center;

Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum implementation, classroom preparation and management, student assessment in a Montessori environment, and age-appropriate conscious discipline;

Demonstrated knowledge of accreditations, including Texas Rising Star;

Demonstrated ability to execute classroom observations, assessments, development plans, and guide training;

Strong leadership, mentorship, and partnership skills with other site level administration;

Ability to analyze and interpret student data to inform instructional decisions;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and

Must pass a background check and have a valid driver license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
