JOB SUMMARY:The Austin Habitat for Humanity Homeowner Qualification Coordinator will review applicants financial documents and perform verifications to ensure program qualifications are met.AGENCY EXPECTATIONS:
  • Acts as a role model within and outside the Agency
  • Adheres to Agency policy and procedures
  • Maintains a positive and respectful attitude and upholds organizational core values
  • Works in collaboration with supervisor and staff to implement organizational strategic goals
  • Demonstrates self-motivation, flexibility and efficient time management
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide quantitative analysis of an applicants financial picture through the collection of financial documents to determine program eligibility
  • Request financial documents in a timely manner and check for accuracy/errors
  • Follow up with applicants with missing data and seek additional clarification as needed
  • Maintain organization of files electronically and provide routine updates
  • Input accurate information on data tracking website and pull reports as needed
  • Communicate current status of eligibility to potential homebuyers
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience providing compassionate and professional customer service to a wide variety of clientele
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook
  • Motivated self-starter but also able work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience working in a service-oriented environment
  • Associates degree or 3 years experience working in a similar industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)
  • Experience using Salesforce
COMPENSATION:
  • $26.50/hr commensurate with experience
