QA/QC Piping Inspector

QA/QC Piping Inspector must have experience doing UTT thickness readings, and PTs, and may require an API-570 for piping inspection, will inspect, test, and sample products, materials, or parts, for deviations and defects from specifications. The inspector will reject anything that does not meet company standards. A QA or QC inspector will observe production operations and equipment to ensure that specifications are being met and to make or order necessary adjustments to processes or assemblies. Attention to detail is essential to the job to detect defects that could be easily missed by the customer but still present a safety risk, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively when reporting issues and defects is necessary. An inspector should be able to interpret blueprints and other drawings that detail product specifications. Experience with measuring tools is required as well.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education: – no minimum education requirements.
Certifications/ Licenses: NCCER, a valid Driver's License, and a TWIC.
Experience: – 5 years of Journeyman level experience.
