Austills Educational Therapy Services is Hiring a Physical Therapist Near Harrisburg, PA
Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, is actively seeking a pediatric Physical Therapist to work 5 days per week with school age children in the Harrisburg, PA area. This opportunity will begin with 2 days during the summer (ESY) session and will continue with a full, 5 day caseload (K-12) in the 2024-25 school year. A great way to ease your way into a school-based caseload!

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
- Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
- Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
- Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
- Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
- Some travel may be required throughout the school day
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy educational program.
- Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License
- Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
