REPORTS TO: Non- Industrial Cleaning Supervisor SUPERVISES: N/A AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: The overall purpose of this position, is to provide general cleaning services and maintain an attractive, sanitary and safe facility. Cleans assigned areas (offices, restrooms, break areas, carpet, walls, furniture, outside areas, etc.) Maintain floors (sweeps, wet/dry mops, dust mops, vacuum carpets, etc) for the purpose of ensuring safety and proper maintenance of facility. Maintains supplies and equipment (cleaning solutions, paper products, vacuum, mops, etc,) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items required to properly stock facilities. Removes and ensures proper disposal of trash and garbage for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary and safe environment. Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety issues and maintaining a functional office environment. Must be flexible to work any assigned work shift. May be assigned tasks outside assigned work area as required.
