Description:
The role will include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Sales demand forecasting
Preparing reports for internal and external customers
Inventory related admin tasks
Purchasing
Placing and expediting purchase orders
Ensure all purchasing is sought at the most competitive price and delivered on time.
Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed.
Collect data, report and provide advice on material usage rates and project future stock requirements.
Manage the garment contract ensuring all Ausreo employees are correctly supplied, fitted and maintained.
Maintain all relevant stock/purchasing reports or as directed in an up to date systematic order.
Liaise with suppliers both locally and overseas, overseeing the end to end of timely and effective delivery.
Inventory Management and Control
Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
Sales and inventory forecasting, budget development, goals and forecasts for business use through D365 F&O.
Reviewing and determining stock holding for all SKUs in order to maintain a constant flow of products whilst maintaining minimum SOH levels to meet demand.
Plan and execute inventory re-ordering policies for stocked product lines.
Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Implement a loss prevention program.
Quality Awareness
Work with internal employees to plan, manage and control programs and procedures to maintain an acceptable level of product quality as established by Ausreo policies and industry standard ISO9001:2015, AS/NZ 4671:2001, AS/NZ 1554.3:2014.
Relationship Management
Be in constant contact and support the TSC Management team.
Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company’s needs.
Communicate with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to quality delivery, schedules, production, methods and materials to resolve day to day issues.
To Be Successful
Our ideal candidate will have experience as an Inventory Officer or Purchasing Officer and will thrive in an environment where achieving a common goal within a time frame is paramount. You will own the role and be a driving force in implementing process and system improvement.
The ideal candidate must have:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a sales or retail environment.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in inventory control and/or warehousing.
  • Proven experience in change management around process and systems improvement/implementation.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of quality awareness.
  • Strong attention to detail
