Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual for the role of Safe Ride Support Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and well-being of students during their transportation while providing support, guidance, and assistance to drivers as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and chat
• Closely monitor in-progress rides in a call-center environment
• Provide any needed support for schools, parents and drivers
• Responsible for handling incoming and outbound calls to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Resolve any issues that may come up during a ride - even if that means a creative out of the box solution
• Quickly respond to calls about rides in progress
• Multitask with several software programs to handle daily tasks
• Be able to switch between tasks and duties with speed and ease
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate customer records
• Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex customer issues
• Willing to drive when need be

Job Requirements

• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Be able to recognize and resolve problems before they arise
• Ability to analyze customer information and provide effective solutions
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency in using transportation management software and GPS tracking systems is preferred
• Prior experience in customer service is preferred
