Aurora Cooperative Energy is looking to hire qualified full time Petroleum Construction and Service Technicians to base out of our Grand Island location.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Applicants would have the ability to troubleshoot both electronic and mechanical fuel systems. Knowledge of above ground and below ground fuel systems preferred but not mandatory. Experience in the industry helpful but not required.

Construction experience also helpful bot not required. Should have the ability to operate or learn to operate machinery, forklifts, welder, and essential tools for the trade.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Experience in petroleum equipment repairs (not required)
• Welding experience is a plus.
• General Technical and Mechanical Aptitude
• General Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills
• Professional Appearance, Attitude, and Communication
• High School Diploma (GED equivalent)
• Stable work history
• Clean Driving Record, Criminal Background Check

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8-5. Local travel for most locations, may have some overnights for some locations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Energy industry experience preferred but will train the right person

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Compensation negotiable depending on experience and/or education
