AURORA COMMUNITY SERVICES is Hiring an Employment specialist Near Menomonie, WI

Consumer Advocacy

  • Advocate for employment development to improve independence
  • Ensure that consumer’s employment goal is clear, well defined, and achievable
  • Act as a liaison between supervisor, consumer, and employer to appropriately communicate concerns and create successful employment outcomes

Responsibilities :

  • Provide job-skill training / coaching to help consumers acquire and maintain independent employment
  • Monitor employment progress by completing assessment activities that determine skill level, and identify existing or new barriers
  • Complete daily reports and documentation based on observations of work performance, goal progress, job coaching hours, and any additional supportive information
  • Attend scheduled meetings / trainings and communicate professionally
  • Protect consumer confidentiality
  • Comply with all ARA and employment site safety standards
  • Identify and report work hazards
  • Other duties as assigned
