Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically autism spectrum disorder
- Implement behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Provide direct behavior analytic services to clients, including data collection, skill acquisition, and behavior reduction procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder
- Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior support plans
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
Skills:
- Strong understanding of behavioral principles and their application in clinical settings
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines governing the practice of applied behavior analysis
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals
