Auria is seeking a Software Development Intern to develop web, mobile, and desktop applications for aerospace mission planning and scheduling. The software intern may provide support for ongoing software development contracts, enhance existing software tools, and develop new software products. This is a hybrid position and can be filled in Greenbelt, MD or Boulder, CO. Auria offers a casual, friendly work environment.

Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

Software Interns will work in small development teams on various aspects of the software development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, and deployment. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required. They will interact internally with Software Engineers and Systems Engineers. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to come up with innovative solutions to challenging problems. Orbit Logic offers a casual, friendly work environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Working towards BS in Engineering or equivalent. Ideal candidate will have completed 2-3 years of Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience with object oriented development.
• Experience with C#.NET in Visual Studio.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Interest in aerospace software development.

Desired Skills:

• Web application architecture and framework development.
• Mobile application development experience.
• Experience in full software development life cycle.
• Version control systems such as Git.
